When you Ask in order to understand – When you Answer in order to share [LINK]

Dropping Knowledge is a global initiative to support the free and open sharing of knowledge among the people of the world. Born out of the unprecedented democratizing power of the Internet Dropping Knowledge employs advanced web-technology to empower the global public to ask the questions that matter to them and seek new solutions through community dialog. However knowledge is defined, be dropping it freely to others, we all gain wisdom

In a world of complexity and contradiction, apathy has become sort of a survival technique. How could you face the evening news without it? Another famine, another flood, another casualty of war – if we truly identified with the pain and suffering of others, it would paralyze us.
And so our apathy extends not only to those on the other side of the world but to or families, friends neighbors, selves.
When was the last time you questioned the way things are? The last time you refused the unacceptable? The last time you turned your apathy into activity?
. . . Ask Yourself

dropping knowledge is a global initiative to turn apathy into activity. By hosting an open conversation covering the most pressing questions of our time, we will foster a worldwide exchange of viewpoints, ideas and people powered solutions.
However knowledge is defined, by dropping it freely to others, we all gain wisdom.

dropping knowledge begins with you. By focusing on yourself and the world around you, questioning what you see and refusing to accept the easy answers, you take the first step out of apathy and into activity
dropping knowledge is a way of asking and answering questions that respects other viewpoints and leads to meaningful exchange.
dropping knowledge means asking in order to understand and answering in order to share.

dropping knowledge empowers users to come together and inhabit a conceptual topography of 25,000 interconnected social topics, setting up camp around the issues that interest them and creating a new space for ideas, information and people powered solutions.
New global problems require a new global approach. dropping knowledge not only increases awareness of existing solutions but through an active dialog among users, generates new answers, new initiatives and new solutions.
